About The Position

Guardian Angel Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides or CNAs for full-time and part-time field-based positions providing compassionate care to patients in their homes throughout San Diego County. The role requires travel between patient homes. Applicants must have an active HHA or CNA certification, a valid driver’s license, a reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance with their name listed on the policy. Transportation is not provided by the company.

The aide supports patients with personal care and daily activities, follows established care plans, observes and reports changes in patient condition, and communicates with nurses and other clinical team members. Requirements

• Active HHA or CNA certification at the time of application.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable personal vehicle.
• Current auto insurance with the applicant’s name listed on the policy.
• Reliable, compassionate, and dependable.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in patient homes.
• Reliable attendance and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Help patients with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping related to patient care.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow established patient care plans.
• Communicate with nurses and other members of the clinical team.
• Travel between patient homes throughout San Diego County.
