About The Position

Guardian Angel Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides or Certified Nursing Assistants for a field-based position providing compassionate care to patients in their homes throughout San Diego County. Travel between patient homes is required, and transportation is not provided by the company. Candidates must have an active HHA or CNA certification when applying, a valid driver’s license, a reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance with their name listed on the policy. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Help patients with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping related to patient care.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow established patient care plans.
• Communicate with nurses and other members of the clinical team.
• Travel between patient homes throughout San Diego County.
