About The Position
Bayada by BAYADA is recruiting a part-time Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide home health services to patients on a per-visit basis in Sussex County, especially around Lewes, Rehoboth, and Milton. The role involves one-on-one support with activities of daily living and related home-care tasks. BAYADA provides training, flexible scheduling, nearby assignments when possible, and 24/7 on-call clinical manager support. The position is paid per point, with a stated base pay range of $23.00–$27.00 per point, depending on qualifications and status and subject to negotiation. Requirements
- At least one year of work experience.
- Be listed on the Delaware Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination.
- Complete a criminal background check.
- Meet all state requirements.

Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
- Assist with transfers and use mechanical lifting devices.
- Assist with oral feeding.
- Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Perform home management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
- Assist patients with ambulation.
- Provide medication assistance.
