About The Position

Guardian Angel Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides or CNAs for a field-based home health position serving patients in their homes throughout San Diego County. The role involves providing personal care, assistance with daily activities, companionship, and support according to established patient care plans. Travel between patient homes is required, and transportation is not provided by the company. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available; scheduling is flexible.

Applicants must have an active HHA or CNA certification at the time of application, a valid driver’s license, a reliable personal vehicle, and current auto insurance with their name listed on the policy. Health, dental, and vision insurance and paid time off are available to eligible employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Help patients with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping related to patient care.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow established patient care plans.
• Communicate with nurses and other members of the clinical team.
• Travel between patient homes throughout San Diego County.
