About The Position

The Home Health Aide provides in-home care to clients in Miami County, Ohio, and surrounding areas, helping them remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. The role involves assisting with daily personal care and household tasks, supporting mobility and nutrition, monitoring and reporting changes in clients’ conditions, and documenting care. Aides work independently while following personalized care plans and coordinate with the supervising nurse and care team.

Requirements

Have one of the following: a current active Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) license; an Ohio Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license less than two years old; or one year of verifiable experience within the last two years under the supervision of an RN.
Have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
Be able to work independently while following a personalized care plan.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous caregiving or home health experience is preferred but not required.
First aid certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Help clients with safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility.
Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed.
Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks related to client care.
Monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions to the supervising nurse and care team.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
