About The Position
The Home Health Aide provides quality in-home care to help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. The role serves Miami County, Ohio, and surrounding areas, and may be full-time, part-time, or PRN. The agency describes a supportive workplace where caregivers can build lasting relationships with clients.
Requirements
- Have at least one of the following: a current active Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) license; an Ohio Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license issued less than two years ago; or one year of verifiable experience within the last two years under the supervision of an RN.
- Have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
- Be able to work independently while following a personalized care plan.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving or home health experience is preferred but not required.
- First aid certification is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help clients with safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility.
- Prepare light meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks related to client care.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions to the supervising nurse and care team.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
