CNA/HHA 1:1 - Home Care
About The Position
BAYADA is recruiting a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one care to patients in Clearwater, St. Petersburg, New Port Richey, Zephyrhills, and other locations. Working from a written plan of care developed by a registered nurse, the aide provides personal care, household support, and companionship to help adults remain safe and independent at home. The role offers a variety of shifts lasting 4–12 hours, weekly pay, training, and support from a larger care team, including 24/7 on-call clinical manager support. The listed pay range is $17–$19 per hour.
Requirements
- At least one year of work experience.
- A current Home Health Aide certificate earned through at least a 40-hour course, or a CNA license, or one year of hands-on experience working as a caregiver or Home Health Aide.
- BLS-certified CPR from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, HSI, or American Healthcare Academy.
- Level II Background Check.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, household support, and companion (homemaker) services according to a written plan of care from a registered nurse.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and bed-making.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Assist with range-of-motion exercises.
- Assist clients with ambulation and transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
- Provide medication reminders.
