About The Position
Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring caregivers to provide compassionate, dependable in-home support that helps clients remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their homes. Caregivers assist with personal care, mobility, meals, medication reminders, companionship, and maintaining a clean and safe home environment. The role includes occasional client transportation for appointments or errands, with mileage reimbursement. Caregivers are supported by an RN Supervisor, receive training and ongoing support, and can build a flexible schedule. The company serves Norfolk and Suffolk Counties and surrounding areas and offers opportunities to grow into office roles such as client relations, scheduling, or recruiting. Compensation is $19.00–$22.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English.
- Current CNA or HHA certification or caregiving experience.
- Strong communication skills and a caring, empathetic nature.
- Ability to follow a care plan and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming while supporting their dignity and comfort.
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, light exercise, or walking.
- Prepare and serve meals.
- Provide medication reminders; training is provided.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in clients’ homes.
- Occasionally transport clients to appointments or errands; mileage is reimbursed.
- Follow care plans and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Demonstrate dedication to clients and respect for the agency’s team.
