About The Position

AdvisaCare is hiring Home Health Aides to provide private-duty in-home care to a client in Cedar Springs, Michigan, and surrounding areas. The role focuses on one client at a time, providing individualized, compassionate care that respects the client’s preferences, choices, abilities, and specific needs. Requirements

• High school graduate or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently with integrity.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to travel within the service area.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and clear a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist the client with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with transfers; the client is able to pivot transfer.
• Provide positioning assistance.
• Provide bathing as needed.
• Provide catheter care.
• Accompany the client to appointments as needed.
• Perform light household duties, such as changing sheets, sweeping, and mopping.
