About The Position

AdvisaCare is hiring a Home Health Aide to provide one-on-one, private-duty care in a client’s home in the Spring Lake area. The role involves supporting a client with a spinal cord injury so they can live safely and independently at home. The aide provides hands-on personal care, companionship, and support while building a meaningful relationship with the client.

Current shift needs are 1st shift, 7 AM–7 PM, and 3rd shift, 7 PM–7 AM.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work responsibly in a team and independently.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to travel within the service area.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care to a client in the client’s home.
• Provide companionship and support.
• Help the client live safely and independently at home.
• Work responsibly both as part of a team and independently.
