About The Position

AdvisaCare is seeking compassionate, dedicated caregivers to provide private-duty, in-home care for a client in the Fremont area. The client has a traumatic brain injury and needs assistance and prompting with all activities of daily living (ADLs). The client can walk but requires standby assistance at all times. The role also includes transportation to appointments, errands, and outings.

This is one-on-one care focused on building a meaningful relationship and providing comfort, compassion, dignity, and support with daily living activities. Available shifts are 1st shift, 7 AM–7 PM, and 3rd shift, 7 PM–7 AM.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work responsibly both as part of a team and independently.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to travel within the service area.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and clear a background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care.
• Assist and prompt the client with all activities of daily living.
• Provide standby assistance while the client walks.
• Transport the client to appointments, errands, and outings.
• Build a meaningful relationship with the client.
• Support daily living activities while bringing comfort, compassion, and dignity.
