About The Position

Affirmed Home Care is hiring Certified Home Health Aides for immediate opportunities serving clients in Huntington, Fort Salonga, Kings Park, and Northport in Suffolk County, New York. Available cases include weekday, evening, and weekend shifts ranging from 6 to 8 hours. Schedules include Tuesday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–10:00 PM in Huntington; Monday–Sunday, 11:00 AM–5:00 PM in Fort Salonga; Thursday and Saturday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM in Kings Park; and Monday and Friday, 12:00 PM–6:00 PM in Northport. The Northport case is for a bedbound client, for whom mobility-assistance and personal-care experience is preferred. The role offers $19.65–$20.00 per hour, weekly pay by direct deposit, flexible scheduling, consistent shifts, and opportunities to take on additional cases and hours. The employer provides fast onboarding, supportive scheduling and clinical teams, and in-person or virtual interviews. Reliable transportation is strongly preferred.

Requirements

Valid New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
Reliable, compassionate, and professional demeanor.
Ability to work independently in a home care setting.
Reliable transportation is strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

Previous home care experience.
Experience assisting clients with personal care, mobility, and activities of daily living.
Experience with mobility assistance and personal care for the bedbound Northport client.
