Home Health Aide - Now Hiring - Summit County
About The Position
Haven Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides to help older adults live at home in Summit County, Ohio. The work includes assisting with bathing, dressing, meals, light cleaning, errands, and companionship. This is physical work, with aides on their feet most of the day and helping people move around. The position does not include medical tasks, which are handled by nurses. Pay depends on qualifications: $18 per hour for an active or expired STNA license; $16–$18 per hour for an HHA certificate or qualifying experience, based on an interview; and $16 per hour through the free training pathway. Applicants with a care background who cannot verify their experience or whose certificate does not qualify may still use the free training pathway, with pay based on the interview at $16–$18 per hour. Employees are paid every two weeks by direct deposit, receive 10% extra on holidays, and may receive performance raises and bonuses. This is a W-2 position. Applicants need a driver's license and their own car with insurance covering work driving, must pass background checks, have legal authorization to work in the United States, and be at least 18 years old. They must work at least 20 hours per week and be available between 6 AM and 8 PM; most work is between 8 AM and 5 PM. Haven Home Care provides free training for applicants without qualifying credentials or experience. The employer participates in E-Verify.
Requirements
