Home Health Aide (HHA) - Adult Home Care
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Home Health Aides to provide adult home care in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Employees can choose where they work, whom they work with, and their hours. The role includes helping clients with activities of daily living and home management tasks. Training may be available for candidates who do not meet the experience qualifications. Openings are listed in West Chester, Exton, Downingtown, West Grove, Kennett Square, Chester Springs, Oxford, Landenberg, and Pottstown. BAYADA offers hourly base pay of $16.00–$18.00, weekly pay, flexible scheduling, efforts to match employees with opportunities near home, a positive work environment, scholarship programs, and 24/7 on-call clinical manager support. Non-licensed home care field employees working an average of 30 hours per week over a three-month measurement period are eligible for group medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits. Those working fewer than 30 hours per week are eligible for Minimum and Enhanced Minimum Coverage Plans. Referral bonuses of $500–$2,000 are also offered. Requirements
- At least one year of direct home care experience with another home health agency, hospital, or facility, or be a nursing student who has completed clinical rotations.
- Candidates who do not meet the stated qualifications may be provided training.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Support range-of-motion activities and exercises.
- Assist with transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
- Assist with oral feeding.
- Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Perform home management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
- Assist clients with ambulation.
- Provide medication assistance.
