About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Home Health Aides to provide care to adult clients in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Aides can choose where and with whom they work, as well as their hours. The role offers flexible scheduling, efforts to match employees with nearby opportunities, weekly pay, and 24/7 on-call clinical manager support. Training may be available for applicants who do not meet the experience qualifications. Requirements
- At least one year of direct home care experience with another home health agency, hospital, or facility, or be a nursing student who has completed clinical rotations.
Nice To Haves
- No prior qualifying experience may be required if the applicant receives training; the posting says training can be provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living.
- Provide light housekeeping.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Support range-of-motion activities and exercises.
- Assist with transfers and use mechanical lifting devices.
- Provide oral feeding assistance.
- Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Perform home management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
- Assist clients with ambulation.
- Provide medication assistance.
Benefits
- Base pay of $16.00–$18.00 per hour.
- Group medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits for eligible non-licensed home care field employees who average at least 30 hours per week over a three-month measurement period.
- Minimum and Enhanced Minimum Coverage Plans for eligible non-licensed home care field employees working less than 30 hours per week.
