Home Health Aide (HHA) - Adult Home Care
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Home Health Aides to provide adult home care in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Aides can choose where and with whom they work, along with hours that fit their lifestyle. The role supports clients in their homes and offers flexible scheduling, opportunities near the aide’s home, weekly pay, and 24/7 on-call clinical manager support. Training may be available for applicants who do not meet the experience qualifications. Current openings are listed in West Chester, Exton, Downingtown, West Grove, Kennett Square, Chester Springs, Oxford, Landenberg, and Pottstown. The stated base pay is $16.00–$18.00 per hour. Eligible non-licensed home care field employees may access group medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits based on hours worked, with minimum and enhanced minimum coverage plans available to those working fewer than 30 hours per week. Requirements
- At least one year of direct home care experience with another home health agency, hospital, or facility; alternatively, nursing students who have completed their clinical rotations qualify.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living.
- Provide light housekeeping.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
- Assist with transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
- Assist with oral feeding.
- Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Perform home management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
- Assist with ambulation.
- Provide medication assistance.
