Home Health Aide (HHA) - Home Care
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking experienced Home Health Aides to make home-care visits to clients in the Manhattan and Brooklyn areas. In this role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing home health aide, skilled nursing, and rehabilitative care so clients can receive the care they need while remaining at home. The position offers opportunities to work in your neighborhood and support your community. The Home Health Aide provides personal care and assistance with daily activities, household tasks, mobility, medication, and basic vital-sign checks. BAYADA describes its care team as valued and supported, with clinical manager support available around the clock.
Requirements
- At least one year of verifiable work-related experience.
- Current New York State Home Health Aide certification or license in good standing with the board.
- Meet all state requirements, including a criminal background check.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living.
- Provide light housekeeping.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
- Assist with transfers and use mechanical lifting devices.
- Assist with oral feeding and ambulation.
- Check temperature, pulse, and respiration.
- Perform home management tasks, including laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
- Provide medication assistance.
