About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Summit, NJ is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide to provide compassionate, personalized care to clients in their homes. The role assists clients with daily activities, supports their independence and dignity, and helps ensure their overall well-being. Requirements

• Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) from the New Jersey Board of Nursing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to think and work independently and with direction.
• Exceptional personal hygiene.
• Respectful and compassionate manner with good bedside manner.
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping.
• Demonstrated experience providing home healthcare services.
• Compassionate and caring demeanor.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a home health care aide is preferred but not required.
• Valid CPR certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, and assistance with daily activities.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in a client's condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client.
• Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity.
