About The Position

EmmUcare Home Health is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, one-on-one support to clients in their homes in Saint Marys, Pennsylvania. The role helps clients remain comfortable, supported, and independent while building respectful relationships with them and their families. Flexible scheduling is arranged around caregiver and client availability, with onboarding guidance, caregiver training, and office-team support. Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required.

Requirements

• Compassion, patience, and respect for each client’s privacy and preferences.
• Dependability and clear communication with clients and the office team.
• Ability to perform assigned care duties safely, with training and support.
• Reliable transportation to assigned visits.
• Ability to use a smartphone for timekeeping.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow each client’s care plan.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Support toileting and incontinence care while preserving the client’s dignity.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as directed in the care plan.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and encouragement.
• Offer medication reminders according to the care plan.
• Report changes in a client’s condition or needs to the office.
• Record completed care tasks and clock in and out using the electronic visit verification system.
