About The Position

Haven Home Care is hiring Home Health Aides to help older adults live at home in Summit County, Ohio. The role involves assisting clients with bathing, dressing, meals, light cleaning, errands, and companionship. It is physical work requiring employees to be on their feet most of the day and help clients move around. The position does not include medical tasks, which are handled by nurses. Pay is $18 per hour for applicants with an active or expired STNA license; $16–$18 per hour, based on interview, for applicants with an HHA certificate or relevant experience; and $16 per hour through the free training pathway. Applicants with care experience whose credentials or experience cannot be verified may still qualify through free training, with pay based on their interview. Employees are paid every two weeks by direct deposit as W-2 employees. Holiday work earns an additional 10%, and performance raises and bonuses are offered. Applicants need a driver's license, their own car with insurance covering work driving, the ability to pass background checks, legal authorization to work in the United States, and must be at least 18 years old. Employees must work at least 20 hours per week and be available between 6 AM and 8 PM; most work is scheduled between 8 AM and 5 PM. The hiring process includes a phone interview for candidates who are a good fit. Haven Home Care participates in E-Verify.

Requirements
