About The Position

Traditions Home Health Services is seeking compassionate, skilled, reliable, and experienced Home Health Aides and/or CNAs for the Middleboro area to assist senior clients. This role involves supporting clients with activities of daily living, household tasks, and providing companionship. We offer various shift options, including daily 4-hour shifts (e.g., 8am-12pm, 9am-1pm, 10am-2pm) and sometimes 6-8 hour shifts in Rochester, Carver, and Wareham.

Requirements

• Home Health Aide Certification or CNA Certification.
• 2+ Years of experience working with your Certification.
• Must be kind, compassionate, reliable, and skilled.
• Must have experience working with Dementia.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a CORI check.
• Current TB test, QuantiFERON Gold Test, or X-ray.
• Dementia care experience.
• Speak, read, write the English language clearly, and possess effective communication skills.
• Must own a cell phone.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living and personal care.
• Assist with light housekeeping.
• Encourage walking and exercising.
• Engage clients in stimulating conversation.
• Assist with activities and exercise according to the Care Plan.
• Encourage fluid intake and assist with possible meal preparation in accordance with orders/Care Plan.
• Competently document shift activities frequently during the shift digitally using a smartphone.
• Report any concerns to the Traditions Home Health Services Office Support Team in a timely manner.
