About The Position
Traditions Home Health Services is currently seeking compassionate, skilled, reliable, and experienced Home Health Aids and/or CNAs for the Norwood area to assist with our senior clients who are in need of support with Activities of daily living and household support and companionship. Shifts Available: Daily 4-Hour Shifts example: 8am-12pm, 9am-1pm, 10am-2pm etc.... 3pm-7pm, 4pm-8pm Also hiring for the following areas: Westwood Walpole Medfield Dedham
Requirements
- Home Health Aide Certification or CNA Certification
- 2+ Years experience working with your Certification
- Must be kind, compassionate, reliable, and skilled HHA
- Must have experience working with Dementia
- Clean driving record, ability to pass a CORI check
- Current TB test, QuantiFERON Gold Test, or X-ray
- Dementia care experience
- Speak, read, write the English language clearly, and effective communication skills.
- Must own a cell phone.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Living, personal care
- Assist with light housekeeping
- Encourage walking, exercising
- Encourage stimulating conversation
- Assist Activities and exercise according to the Care Plan
- Encourage fluid intake, possible meal prep in accordance with orders/Care Plan
- Competently documenting shift activities frequently during the shift digitally using a smartphone
- Report any concerns to the Traditions Home Health Services Office Support Team in a timely manner
