About The Position

Traditions Home Health Services is seeking compassionate, skilled, reliable, and experienced Home Health Aids and/or CNAs for the Norwood area to assist senior clients with activities of daily living, household support, and companionship. We offer daily 4-hour shifts and are also hiring for Westwood, Walpole, Medfield, and Dedham areas. This role involves providing personal care, light housekeeping, encouraging walking and exercise, stimulating conversation, assisting with activities and exercise according to the Care Plan, and encouraging fluid intake and possible meal preparation. Documentation of shift activities digitally and reporting concerns to the office support team are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Home Health Aide Certification or CNA Certification
  • 2+ Years experience working with your Certification
  • Must be kind, compassionate, reliable, and skilled
  • Must have experience working with Dementia
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a CORI check
  • Current TB test, QuantiFERON Gold Test, or X-ray
  • Dementia care experience
  • Speak, read, write the English language clearly, and effective communication skills
  • Must own a cell phone

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living and personal care

  • Competently document shift activities frequently during the shift digitally using a smartphone
  • Report any concerns to the Traditions Home Health Services Office Support Team in a timely manner
