About The Position
Traditions Home Health Services is seeking a compassionate, skilled, reliable, and experienced Home Health Aide or CNA for the Massachusetts Ave, Boston area. The role involves assisting a client with daily living activities, providing companionship, light household support, escorting to the dining room, and encouraging exercise routines. This is a permanent position with consistent hours, offered in 3-4 hour shifts on weekdays and/or weekends. Traditions Home Health Services emphasizes a small, consistent team for their clients.
Requirements
- Home Health Aide Certification and/or CNA Certification
- 2+ Years of experience working with your Certification
- Must be kind, compassionate, reliable, and skilled
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass a CORI check
- Current TB test, QuantiFERON Gold Test, or X-ray
- Speak, read, write the English language clearly, and possess effective communication skills
- Must own a smartphone

Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living and personal care
- Assist with light housekeeping
- Encourage walking and exercise according to the Care Plan
- Provide stimulating conversation and activities
- Encourage fluid intake and possible meal preparation in accordance with orders/Care Plan
- Competently document shift activities frequently during the shift digitally using a smartphone
- Report any concerns to the Traditions Home Health Services Office Support Team in a timely manner
