About The Position
Right at Home, a leading In-Home Care company, is seeking experienced and professional Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for its Miami office. Requirements
- Home Health Aid Certificate or Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (Required)
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile (Required)
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities) (Recommended).
Responsibilities
- Assisting patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene (bathing, oral care, hair care, shaving), ambulation/transfers, eating, and dressing.
- Preparing meals and snacks as instructed.
- Accompanying patients on errands and medical appointments.
- Performing housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, changing linens, laundry, and bathroom cleaning.
- Assisting with patient-specific activities as taught by a nurse, including medication reminders, prescribed range of motion exercises, preparing special diets, dementia care, and incontinence care.
