English Speaking HHA/CNA Needed in North Miami Beach
About The Position
Right at Home Miami is seeking compassionate, caring, and reliable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide care to patients in the Miami area. The role includes assisting patients with activities of daily living, preparing meals and snacks, accompanying patients on errands or medical appointments, performing light housekeeping, and providing patient-specific support. Duties may include hospice supportive care, medication reminders, assistance with exercises, incontinence care, and use of lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts. The position requires a Level 2 background screening through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Requirements
- CNA license or HHA certificate.
- Valid driver's license or state photo ID.
- Second form of identification, such as an SSN, passport, or voter registration.
- Auto insurance.
- CPR card; online classes are not accepted.
- TB test or chest X-ray.
- Level 2 fingerprint background check.
- Alzheimer's, HIV, and Assisting with Medications CEU.
- One letter of recommendation.
- English speaking.

Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, ambulation and transfers, dressing, and shaving.
- Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
- Accompany patients on errands or to medical appointments.
- Perform housekeeping such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping, washing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Provide patient-specific support, including hospice supportive care, medication reminders, assistance with exercises, and incontinence care.
- Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts.
