About The Position
Right at Home Miami is seeking compassionate, caring, and reliable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide care to patients in Miami, Florida. The position involves helping patients with activities of daily living, meal preparation, errands and medical appointments, housekeeping, and patient-specific care. Duties may include hospice support, medication reminders, exercises, incontinence care, and using lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts. The role requires a Level 2 background screening through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Requirements
- CNA license or HHA certificate.
- Valid driver's license or state photo ID.
- A second form of identification, such as an SSN, passport, or voter registration.
- Auto insurance.
- CPR card; online classes are not accepted.
- TB test or chest X-ray.
- Level 2 fingerprint background check.
- Alzheimer's, HIV, and assisting-with-medications CEU.
- One letter of recommendation.

Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, ambulation and transfers, dressing, and shaving.
- Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
- Accompany patients on errands or to medical appointments.
- Perform housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping, washing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Provide patient-specific care such as hospice support, medication reminders, assistance with exercises, and incontinence care.
- Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts.
