About The Position

Right at Home’s Miami office is seeking experienced, professional Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide in-home care to clients in Key Biscayne. The position includes assisting clients with activities of daily living, preparing meals, accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments, performing household tasks, and carrying out patient-specific activities taught by a Right at Home nurse. The posting describes the work as an essential service. Requirements

Home Health Aide certificate or Certified Nursing Assistant certification (required).
Valid driver’s license and insured automobile (required).

Nice To Haves

At least one year of experience as a caregiver or Home Health Aide in healthcare, in homes or facilities (recommended).
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job (recommended).

Responsibilities

Assist patients with personal hygiene, including toileting or bedpan use, bathing, oral care, shaving, and skin and hair care.
Assist patients with ambulation and transfers.
Assist patients with eating and dressing.
Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
Accompany patients on errands or to medical appointments.
Perform housekeeping tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping, doing dishes, changing bed linens, laundry, and bathroom cleaning.
Perform patient-specific activities taught by a Right at Home nurse, such as medication reminders, prescribed range-of-motion exercises, preparing special diets, dementia care, and incontinence care.
