About The Position
Right at Home’s Miami office is seeking experienced, professional HHAs and CNAs to provide in-home care to clients in Kendall. Caregivers assist with activities of daily living, prepare meals, accompany clients on errands or medical appointments, perform light housekeeping, and complete patient-specific activities taught by a Right at Home nurse. English language ability is recommended for the role.
Requirements
- Home Health Aide Certificate or Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (required).
- Valid driver’s license and insured automobile (required).
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience as a caregiver or home health aide in a healthcare setting, in a home or facility (recommended).
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job (recommended).
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathroom or bedpan use, bathing, mouth care, shaving, and skin and hair care.
- Assist with ambulation and transfers.
- Assist clients with eating and dressing.
- Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
- Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments.
- Perform housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, washing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Perform patient-specific activities taught by a Right at Home nurse, such as medication reminders, prescribed range-of-motion exercises, preparing special diets, dementia care, and incontinence care.
