About The Position
Visiting Angels of Southern Maryland is hiring Home Caregivers to provide one-on-one care and support to senior clients in their homes throughout Charles, Calvert, and St. Mary's Counties. The role supports clients’ quality of life through companionship and assistance with everyday needs. Duties may include light housekeeping, grocery shopping, meal preparation, personal care and hygiene assistance, medication reminders, household errands, and transportation to appointments. Days, evenings, and weekends are available. The company describes the work as a flexible and rewarding caregiving career and offers competitive hourly pay of $15.00.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proof of auto insurance and a reliable car.
- Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screen.
- Three years of relevant job experience or a current CNA license.
- CPR certification.
- Social Security card must be presented at the interview.
Responsibilities
- Provide essential support to seniors at their residences.
- Assist with light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance as needed, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Give medication reminders and assist with household errands.
- Provide transportation to and from appointments.
