About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care Schaumburg/Park Ridge is hiring dependable, compassionate, and experienced caregivers or CNAs for full-time or part-time opportunities supporting seniors with a range of care needs. Assignments may involve companion-level care or maximum-assistance clients. Caregivers provide one-on-one support in clients’ homes across Schaumburg, Park Ridge, Palatine, Hoffman Estates, Rolling Meadows, Elk Grove Village, Des Plaines, and surrounding areas. Pay is $19–$21 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Flexible scheduling, consistent hours, long-term client assignments, and overtime opportunities may be available based on availability and case needs.

Requirements

Previous caregiving or CNA experience is preferred.
Be reliable, professional, patient, and compassionate.
Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Experience with both companion care and hands-on personal care.
Hoyer lift and transfer experience for higher-assistance cases.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, one-on-one care to clients in their homes.
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting as needed.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and personal care when required.
Offer medication reminders.
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
Complete accurate care notes and communicate client needs to the office.
