About The Position
Visiting Angels is seeking reliable and compassionate caregivers to support seniors and adults with disabilities in their own homes. The role provides personalized, one-on-one assistance with daily living while building meaningful relationships with clients. Caregivers may work day, evening, weekend, or overnight shifts.
Requirements
- Be dependable, compassionate, patient, and professional.
- Enjoy helping others.
- Be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Have a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and active automobile insurance.
- Be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Be comfortable using a smartphone for clocking in and out and documentation.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Professional or personal senior or disabled adult caregiving experience.
- CNA/LNA certification.
- Dementia or Alzheimer's experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one companionship.
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
- Prepare meals.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Run errands and grocery shop.
- Provide transportation to appointments.
- Assist with daily living activities.
- Complete electronic documentation using a smartphone.
