About The Position
Visiting Angels of Southern Maryland is hiring Home Caregivers to provide one-on-one support to senior clients in their homes throughout Charles, Calvert, and St. Mary's Counties. The role supports clients’ quality of life through companionship and assistance with daily needs. Scheduling options include days, evenings, and weekends, and the position offers an hourly rate of $15.00.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and a reliable car.
- Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screen.
- Three years of relevant job experience or a current CNA license.
- CPR certification.
- Social Security card must be presented at the interview.
Responsibilities
- Provide essential support to seniors in their residences.
- Assist with light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance when needed, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide medication reminders and help with household errands.
- Transport clients to and from appointments.
