About The Position
Visiting Angels of Southern Maryland is hiring Home Caregivers to provide one-on-one care to senior clients in their homes throughout Charles, Calvert, and St. Mary’s Counties. Caregivers support clients’ quality of life through essential in-home assistance and companionship. The position offers flexible scheduling, with days, evenings, and weekends available, and pays $15.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and a reliable car.
- Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screen.
- Three years of relevant job experience or a current CNA license.
- CPR certification.
- Bring a Social Security card to the interview.
Responsibilities
- Provide essential support to seniors in their residences.
- Assist with light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, when needed.
- Provide medication reminders and help with household errands.
- Transport clients to and from appointments.
