About The Position

Visiting Angels of Hanover, PA is hiring a Home Caregiver to provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A passing criminal background check and drug screening are required.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required.
• Positive attitude and a proven track record of dependability.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, peers, and supervisors.

Nice To Haves

• One year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA license preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors at home.
• Give medication reminders.
• Run household errands and provide transportation to doctors’ appointments.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with grocery shopping, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
• Provide mobility assistance, such as helping clients walk and transfer.
