About The Position

The Home Care Service Coordinator is responsible for scheduling and supervising in-home care workers and clients in a geographic area. The role helps older adults and individuals with disabilities live safely and independently at home. The position is located at A-Plus HealthCare, 1310 S Main Street, Kalispell, MT 59901, and follows a Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule. Supervisory and/or home care experience is preferred.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of industry experience.
Interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and a scheduling program.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Create work schedules by entering them into the system and manage changes due to client requests, illness, vacation, or leaves of absence.
Arrange alternate coverage so clients’ care plans are followed and services are not interrupted.
Contact care providers and clients to provide service updates.
Conduct monthly client wellness calls and home visits as required.
Follow through thoroughly on escalated client complaints and theft claims.
Supervise direct service employees by setting expectations for attendance, performance, and conduct, and holding employees accountable to company policies and guidelines.
Maintain a professional branch environment that is neat, clean, orderly, and generally free of clutter.
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Maintain regular, predictable, consistent attendance and flexibility to meet agency needs.
Follow MCO, Medicare, Medicaid, and HIPAA regulations and requirements, along with all applicable regulations, policies, procedures, and standards.
