About The Position

Griswold Home Care – Raleigh & Apex is hiring a Home Care Scheduling Coordinator to coordinate consistent care for clients across Raleigh and Apex and support caregivers. The role focuses on building care teams and matching caregivers with clients based on care needs, skills, availability, location, and personality. It is fast-paced and people-centered, with schedules that can change quickly and urgent coverage needs. The coordinator works with a Care Operations Manager and fellow scheduling coordinators. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:45 a.m.–4:45 p.m., in the office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays after training. The role includes one on-call night per week and select holidays. Compensation is a $50,000 base salary plus quarterly bonuses tied to company gross profit, up to $10,000 annually.

Requirements

Experience in scheduling, staffing, dispatch, customer service, healthcare, or home care, or strong coordination skills and willingness to learn.
Strong organization and ability to juggle shifting priorities.
Clear, kind communication by phone and text.
Comfort with computer systems and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

Match caregivers to clients based on care needs, skills, availability, location, and personality.
Build steady care teams, including backup coverage for ongoing and high-hour clients.
Fill call-outs and open shifts quickly, including urgent same-day coverage.
Keep clients, families, and caregivers informed about schedules and changes.
Balance coverage, caregiver hours, and overtime to keep care on track.
Help interview, onboard, and orient new caregivers.
