About The Position

NurseCore is seeking home care Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide independent care to pediatric and adult patients in their homes. The role involves hands-on care for patients with G-tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators, as applicable to each patient. Pay is $40 per hour for RNs and $27 per hour for LPNs.

Nurses assess patient status, recognize changes in condition, and respond appropriately to patient needs, including respiratory needs and ventilator alarms when applicable. They follow individualized care plans and physician orders, and communicate with patients, families, and the clinical care team to support quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Active RN or LPN license in Nevada.
• At least one year of post-graduate nursing experience.
• At least one year of recent, hands-on experience with G-tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators.
• Current hands-on CPR/BLS certification.
• Negative TB test within the past year.

Nice To Haves

• Recent ventilator experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator care, including monitoring and support as applicable to the patient.
• Assess patient status, recognize changes in condition, and respond appropriately to patient needs, including respiratory needs and ventilator alarms when applicable.
• Follow individualized care plans and physician orders while providing safe, independent care in the home.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the clinical care team to support quality patient outcomes.
