RN/LPN Pediatric Home Care
About The Position
Home Heart Florida is hiring compassionate registered nurses and licensed practical nurses to provide pediatric private-duty home care. The role involves one-on-one nursing care for medically fragile children in their own homes, helping children thrive and supporting their families. The case is located in Winter Haven, Florida (33881) and is for a female patient. Required clinical skills include feeding tube care and aspiration-risk management. English is required. Available day shifts are 9 a.m.–5 p.m., 10 a.m.–6 p.m., or 11 a.m.–7 p.m. The position requires an RN or LPN license. The schedule may be flexible, with days, nights, and weekends available, and full-time, part-time, or PRN arrangements. Nurses provide one-on-one care and work with a supportive clinical team.
Requirements
- Active Florida RN or LPN license.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to pass background and license checks.
- Reliability, dependability, and strong interpersonal skills with families.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric or home-care experience; the employer will train the right nurse.
Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, and care plans.
- Support children who may need tracheostomy or ventilator care, G-tube care, suctioning, or seizure monitoring.
- Document accurately and communicate with the care team and family.
