RN/LPN Pediatric Home Care
About The Position
Home Heart Florida is seeking a compassionate RN or LPN to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to a pediatric patient in the patient’s home. Nurses are thoughtfully matched with families based on clinical experience, personality, location, and schedule. A nurse-led clinical team is available for support, and the company aims to make onboarding straightforward and timely. Shift availability depends on the individual patient’s needs and may include days, nights, weekends, or overnight care. Case-specific clinical skills may be required. RNs with at least one year of pediatric experience and home care experience may ask about providing RN education to a nearby family for an increased rate.
Requirements
- Active Florida RN or LPN license.
- BLS certification.
- Experience with the clinical skills listed for the case, when required.
- Dependable, communicative, and comfortable working independently in the home.
- Reliable transportation.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of pediatric experience and home care experience for RNs interested in providing family education for an increased rate.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care according to the patient's plan of care.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Monitor and document changes in the patient's condition.
- Provide feeding, respiratory, and other case-specific care as applicable.
- Communicate with the family and clinical team.
