About The Position
Home Heart Florida is seeking a compassionate nurse to provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to a pediatric patient in the patient’s home in Interlachen, Florida. The case requires G-tube clinical skills, English language ability, and an RN license. The listed schedule is weekend days. Nurses are matched with families based on clinical experience, personality, location, and schedule. A nurse-led clinical team is available for support, and the company aims to move qualified nurses through onboarding promptly. Available schedules may vary with patient needs and can include days, nights, weekends, or overnight care. An RN with one year of pediatric experience and home care experience may ask about providing RN education to a nearby family for an increased rate.
Requirements
- Active Florida RN or LPN license; this case lists an RN license as required.
- BLS certification.
- Experience with the clinical skills listed for the case, when required; G-tube skills are required for this case.
- Dependability, good communication, and comfort working independently in the home.
- Reliable transportation.
- English language ability.
Nice To Haves
- One year of pediatric experience and home care experience for the opportunity to provide RN education to a family for an increased rate.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care according to the patient's plan of care.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Monitor and document changes in the patient's condition.
