About The Position
HomeWorks, the home care agency of United Methodist Communities, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide home care services in Northern New Jersey. The RN delivers individualized nursing services, coordinates care, and builds trusted relationships with clients and families in the home setting. The position is scheduled 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., four days per week, with flexibility as needed, and pays $44 per hour.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered New Jersey RN license or a multistate (compact) RN license.
- 1–2 years of RN experience in home care, home health, hospice, or community nursing.
- Must be able to produce a negative drug test.
- May be subject to a background check.

Responsibilities
- Complete in-home visits to review client needs, identify areas for support, and promote overall well-being.
- Collaborate with Home Health Aides and the care team to support a positive client experience.
- Create and update personalized service plans based on client goals, preferences, and changing needs.
- Provide ongoing nursing visits and follow-up evaluations to support continuity of care.
- Build professional relationships with clients and families and serve as a key point of contact.
- Maintain timely documentation and communicate relevant updates to the clinical team.
