About The Position

Always Best Care Chicagoland is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care and help seniors remain safe and independent in their homes. The agency serves DuPage, Will, and Cook Counties. Caregivers receive training and support while helping clients with daily activities and following their care plans. This position is located in Frankfort, Illinois, and is performed in person. Full-time and part-time availability is offered.

Requirements

At least one year of caregiving or home care experience.
Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking, with attention to dietary constraints.
Respectful and compassionate demeanor and good bedside manner.
Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license.
Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to work in the United States.
Must be very reliable.

Responsibilities

Provide medication reminders.
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility at home and outdoors, including attending appointments and walks.
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
Shop for clients or accompany them while shopping, as needed.
Perform light housekeeping clients cannot manage themselves, including meal preparation.
Report unusual incidents to the Care Coordinator.
Respond quickly and responsibly to emergencies.
Follow each client’s care plan.
