About The Position

Always Best Care Chicagoland is hiring compassionate home care caregivers to help seniors remain safe and independent in their homes. The agency provides non-medical home care in DuPage, Will, and Cook Counties. Caregivers receive training and support while assisting clients with daily needs and following their care plans. The position is based in Tinley Park, Illinois, and is performed in person. Full-time, part-time, and live-in availability are mentioned.

Requirements

At least one year of caregiving or home care experience.
Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking, with attention to dietary constraints.
Respectful, compassionate manner and good bedside manner.
Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver’s license.
Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to work in the United States.
Must be reliable.
Willingness to work full-time or part-time.

Responsibilities

Provide medication reminders.
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility at home and outside, including attending appointments and taking walks.
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
Shop for clients or accompany them while shopping as needed.
Perform light housekeeping tasks clients cannot complete themselves, including meal preparation.
Report unusual incidents to the Care Coordinator.
Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Follow the client’s care plan.
