Holiday Tour Staff (December 2026)
About The Position
Old South Carriage Co. is hiring seasonal staff to work as caroling elves for its Holiday “Sleigh” Rides in downtown Charleston during December 2026. Staff ride along on a carriage, exchange playful banter with the tour guide using a provided script, and lead guests in singing holiday carols. Each 35-minute experience includes a 20-minute caroling ride through the Holy City followed by a visit to Santa’s Stable, where guests meet the “reindeer,” enjoy hot cocoa and cookies, and take a photo with Santa. Tours are scheduled for November 28; December 4, 5, 11, 12, and 13; and December 17–23. Listed shifts begin at 4 p.m. or 5 p.m. and run until closing. Training is Tuesday, December 1 at 4 p.m.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Able to work the majority of the listed dates and times.
- Capable of performing specific tasks based on the position.
