Holiday Tour Staff (December 2026)
About The Position
Old South Carriage Co. is hiring seasonal staff to work as caroling elves on its Holiday “Sleigh” Rides in downtown Charleston in December 2026. Staff ride along on the carriage, exchange playful banter with the tour guide using a provided script, and lead guests in singing holiday carols. Each 35-minute experience includes a 20-minute caroling ride through Charleston, followed by a visit to Santa’s Stable, where guests meet the “reindeer,” enjoy hot cocoa and cookies, and take a photo with Santa. The listed work dates are November 28; December 4, 5, 11, 12, and 13; and December 17–23. Shifts begin at 4 p.m. and continue until close. Training is Tuesday, December 1 at 4 p.m. Applicants must be at least 18, able to work most of the listed dates and times, and capable of performing tasks specific to the position. Pay is $18 per hour plus shared gratuity.
