About The Position

David Weekley Homes is seeking an HOA Coordinator to support its growing Tampa division. This developer-side HOA role supports new and existing communities from initial formation through transition to homeowner control. The Coordinator partners with Land, Purchasing, and Homebuilding teams and coordinates with attorneys, community management companies, vendors, and homeowners. The position is onsite with minimal travel.

Requirements

Strong organization and follow-up skills to keep multiple communities and deadlines on track.
Clear communication skills with homeowners, vendors, management companies, and internal teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic document systems.

Nice To Haves

HOA experience with a homebuilder, land developer, or community association management company.
Familiarity with community formation, HOA transitions, and documents such as declarations, plats, and contracts.
Florida LCAM or a similar credential.

Responsibilities

Coordinate formation and filing of community declarations for water management and platting.
Initiate HOA contracts for maintenance of landscaping, irrigation, ponds, gates, amenities, and mitigation areas.
Coordinate the selection and onboarding of community management companies.
Review ARC submittals according to community guidelines and coordinate the approval process.
Coordinate turnover inspections and track required repairs before transition.
Support HOA management with fees, budgeting, and updates.
Assist HOA management in resolving homeowner inquiries and issues.
Support the homebuilding team with external developer ARC submittals, including plans, colors, and landscaping.
