About The Position

Howard Memorial Hospital is seeking a Release of Information Clerk to handle all Release of Information functions and incoming calls for medical records requests. The clerk works collaboratively with members of the Health Information Management (HIM) department and other departments to support continuation of care. Other duties may be assigned by the Director of HIM. This is a full-time position at a critical access hospital in Nashville, Arkansas. The hospital provides patient-focused care in emergency, surgical, inpatient, and outpatient settings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be analytical, organized, and attentive to detail.
• One year of hospital experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Release of Information functions.
• Handle incoming calls for medical records requests.
• Collaborate with HIM department members and other departments to support continuation of care from Howard Memorial Hospital.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of HIM.
