About The Position

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products and sells items individually to the public through online auctions. The High Value Scanner tests and inspects higher-value products, such as iPads, smart watches, and cell phones, to assess their condition before they are uploaded for auction. The role uses proprietary software to scan items and upload product information accurately into the auction portal. This position reports to the Scan Team Lead.

This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt, on-site position. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with 8-hour shifts and a 30-minute lunch break.

Requirements

• Must be available to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Must be tech-savvy and able to troubleshoot.
• Must have a high level of integrity.
• Must be comfortable using web- and browser-based software, including Google and Amazon search.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for hours at a time.
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and test electronics.
• Scan items into the system to create online auction listings.
• Search for products online.
• Capture and crop screenshots or photos for online listings.
• Correct and complete auto-pulled information for each item.
• Meet quantity and quality goals.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
