About The Position

Morgan & Morgan is a personal injury law firm focused on protecting consumers. The High Value Case Manager works with a varied caseload and assists attorneys in developing settlements and preparing documents and correspondence. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, empathetic, and able to manage work with minimal supervision. This is a salaried, in-office position, with work performed five days per week.

Requirements

At least 2 years of legal or insurance adjuster experience.
Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
Proficient knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, procedures and practices, and calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings.
A winning attitude.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree.
Prior experience as a case manager.

Responsibilities

Interact proactively each day with existing and potential clients, insurance companies, and medical providers by phone and in person.
Order medical records from providers and communicate with them during clients’ treatment.
Obtain documents needed to support injury and liability positions.
Work with insurance carriers and healthcare providers to secure records and account balances.
Work directly with coworkers involved in managing and supporting case files.
Maintain organized case files.
Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble supporting materials for submission to carriers.
Interact with attorneys and present case synopses when required.
Perform other related duties as assigned to meet business needs.
